Coaching is built around human connection,
yet being a coach can sometimes feel surprisingly lonely.
We spend so much time creating space for others, but where is the space for us?
Coaching is confidential.
Successful coaches belong to a tribe.
The Coaching Room Community
is that Space
Created by Nicky and Suzie, the Coaching Room Community is a welcoming community where coaches can connect, learn, practise,
and share honestly, and feel supported by people
who understand the joys and the wobbles of running a coaching business.
Come into the room to:
Connect with warm,
like-minded coaches
Share challenges without judgment
Talk honestly about the wins, the wobbles, and everything in between.
Ask the questions you feel you should already know the answer to.
Learn fresh perspectives, tools and approaches
Practise and experiment in a psychologically safe space
Learn, think, laugh and grow together
Our fortnightly, 60-minute live group sessions alternate between Connect & Share Sessions and Learn & Explore Sessions, so each month you get one of each.
What to expect:
These sessions are highly interactive, so come ready to engage your brain, contribute your experience, learn something useful and have a laugh along the way.
Learning Topics:
The neuroscience of psychological safety
The world of a neurodiverse coach
Exploring your listening lenses
Building confidence without having all the answers
Navigating emotions
What to do when you feel stuck in a coaching session
Topics in Learn & Explore could include:
Exploring Exercises:
Identifying your core values in 40 minutes
Reimagining your marketing while staying authentic
Making the coaching agreement simple
Befriending your inner critic through creative practice
Systemic coaching tools in action
Bring your questions. Bring your experience. Bring your whole self.
Connect & Share Sessions
Bring a question, experience, challenge or coaching dilemma for the community to explore together.
Learn & Explore Sessions
Discover and explore new ideas, models and coaching approaches, including guest speakers, and consider how they could strengthen your practice.
Who this program is for…
This is a curated community.
To protect the confidentiality and psychological safety of the room, we invite coaches who:
- have completed accredited ICF coach training or equivalent
- are already running their coaching business, even in the early days or as an emerging business
- are returning to coaching after a break
- are internal coaches looking to expand into private practice
- are internal coaches seeking a coaching community independent from their organisation
Why the Coaching Room Community is calling us…
“We have both learnt that becoming a great coach is about far more than collecting qualifications and tools. It is about finding your voice, trusting yourself and having good people around you while you grow.”
Meet Your Tribe Facilitators
Both Nicky and Suzie are ICF PCC-credentialed coaches and hold the ICF Mentor Coaching Skills certificate.
Nicky Rasmin
Nicky is a learning and development specialist and a leadership team member of ICF Queensland, with over twenty years of experience across consulting, corporate training, and leadership development. Nicky has enjoyed a dual career working on large-scale creative projects, from the Olympics to corporate training conferences, while sharing insights from those experiences through storytelling in the training room.
Through her career, Nicky has learned that training on its own rarely creates lasting change. Adult learning research backs this up; skills only become embodied through practice, feedback, and support after the initial training event. She is particularly drawn to supporting behaviour change and cultural shifts rather than delivering off-the-shelf content. That understanding shapes how she works alongside clients at every stage of development.
As a visual artist and coach, play and creativity sit at the centre of how Nicky works. For her, that means building the psychological safety for people to think differently, experiment, and try things out loud, without needing to get it right the first time.
Nicky believes that everyone is creative in their own way, with their own strengths, and that we are all here to create impact. In the right developmental environment, people build the confidence to turn up authentically, to innovate, and to create that impact as a service to both themselves and others.
Suzie Whitfield is a performance coach, workplace trainer, and passionate explorer of human potential. For more than a decade, she has worked with people from all walks of life, from senior executives in global organisations and Olympic athletes to Netflix actors, neurodivergent thinkers, emerging leaders, and local community members, all united by one thing: a desire to discover what they are truly capable of.
Drawing on neuroscience, performance psychology, evidence-based coaching practices, and a lifetime of learning, Suzie creates environments where people feel safe enough to be challenged and inspired enough to grow. Her coaching style is energetic, practical, and deeply human. She has a unique ability to help people uncover the beliefs, strengths, and possibilities that often sit hidden beneath the noise of everyday life.
At the heart of Suzie's work is a simple but powerful belief: human potential is far greater than most of us realise. While life often presents obstacles that can cloud our view of what is possible, Suzie is passionate about helping people reconnect with their strengths, build confidence, and take meaningful action toward the future they want to create.
Known for her authenticity, warmth, and ability to spark powerful conversations, Suzie brings a mix of insight, curiosity, and fun to every room she enters. She believes that growth is rarely comfortable, but it is always exciting, and often far more rewarding than we ever imagined.
